In this year 2021, the view from our window has gained importance due to pandemic situation, the people who had no time to stop and watch the scenery from their window now only can see from the outside view on the window. To me, the first thing I see in the morning is very important because for the past 5 years I usually saw a busy street with no smiling faces and the people in rush, the weather does not change the scenerio if it’s rainy the same scene but people with umbrellas.

What I want to see is nature changing through seasons, different types of trees, birds maybe snowy hills depends on the weather this is the point that weather effects me, now I’m in a place where I grow up and the first view I saw in the morning is the same with my 5 years old-self, the same tree is standing right there in front of me, every morning it is like “Hey you grown up, come on it’s sunny” or “Hey you right there who were hiding from the rain beneath me, good morning” this view is always inspiring me regardless of the weather situation.

Lately I had a conversation with my grandmother who was an old retired teacher about her home located in the village, the first work area of her was the village which had no electricity and running water, the home she had has a view of green fields and she told me that her wake up call for the school was the sheep’s bells whose coming to graze and This was the moment when I thought I had no time to look through the window and my iPhone alarm tone that wanted to kill me in the mornings. Since the day I heard this from my grandmother, I always dream of it even though now I see much more inspiring view compared to my city life.

What if I would wake up in my bed near the window which has a view of sheep and shepherd’s dog in a sunny shining morning with the birds singing, what if my alarm was a rooster but not an iPhone, after that so many what if’s I realize my dream is always being more close the nature and finding the little happiness when I wake up and look at from my window.

Next Day: The Unrequited love poem. How do you feel when you love someone who does not love you back?
